An intellectual Saturday morning

By Will Wemer -- 11/22/08 It was a very foggy walk to the Hyatt this morning, and it was challenging trying to keep tabs on the Ohio State/Michigan score (Buckeyes won 42-7). But after attending two morning sessions and visiting some of the paper presenters in the second floor lobby, it is very apparent that all the scholars are getting into their "academic stride" at this point. The conversations have gone to a whole new intellectual level, and the audience members are asking a greater volume of engaging questions. I've also become more comfortable as a press team member, as I reach out to more and more scholars for interviews. All of the encouraging words and welcoming smiles have really helped to keep us going this weekend. So continue enjoying the site, everyone, and keep on having stimulating sessions that make the reporting process so much fun for us.
