Assessment Plan for a Basic Course in Interpersonal Communication

Abstract:

This paper provides a description and rationale for an assessment plan of a basic course in interpersonal communication. After identifying goals for the course I go on to describe various assessment tools such as reflection papers, journals, and student portfolios that could be used as an assessment tool for both the teaching process and student learning.
