Before We Depart...
I am uploading videos and blogging in the hotel lobby. These few minutes of 'unstressful' work has allowed me moments of contemplation. In the last few days, I blogged, reported stories, videographed, helped the production team set up equipments.
Filling up these divergent roles have made me realize the diversity incarcerated within field of communication academia. Media production, rhetoric, discussion, conversations ... all of these contributed to my understanding of communication field and added to my memories.
I would take this moment to express gratitude to the entire team of NCA Press for the hard work. I understand the stress that goes behind setting up cameras at the last minute, waiting impatiently for the videos to upload, requesting scholars for interviews...My first NCA experience is one worth remembering.
I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself, Anuj! And learned, worked, communicated and reflected on all that is the NCA. I am honored to have you as a former student and constant friend. I'm certain we'll be seeing your name over and again at future NCA conventions and in our discipline writ large!
