Brenna Ruiz-Gordon: is a visiting Fulbright Scholar from Costa Rica pursuing a MA in Communication Management at Emerson College. She graduated from the University of Costa Rica with a B.A. in Collective Communications Sciences & Journalism. She also concluded a first-level graduate degree (Licenciatura) in Journalism whilst working as a broadcast and print reporter for more than four years. She held the Communications Assistant position for The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Central America and has served as Strategic Communications Consultant for Community Chest Inc. in Virginia City, NV, as well as for several Non-Profit organizations in Costa Rica. Brenna is an active freelance writer for several tourism magazines in Costa Rica and Guatemala. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian and interested in learning Arabic. Her goal is to become a consultant for Non-Profit Organizations working in developing countries on issues related to Human Rights and Environmental Conservation.
