I am a Communication Professional

Over the summer, shortly after graduating with a BS in Communication Studies, I presented a paper at a communication conference in Salamanca, Spain.  Surrounded by academics and professionals alike, I was overwhelmed by the sheer feelings of accomplishment and pride I was experiencing.  I returned to Boston and knew that I needed to continue this path.  Fast forward six months.  I am in the masters program for Communication Management at Emerson.  I am not only attending, but working for one of the largest and most respected conferences in the industry, the NCA.  At this exact moment, getting ready to go to San Diego, working on more projects than I can count, I have realized, without a doubt, that I am in fact a communication professional.  This is my life, and the conference will be one more exciting destination along this path.
