Michael McManus

mike_120120.jpg.jpgMichael McManus is an Emerson College alumn. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in Organizational and Political Communication. He is currently living in Los Angeles and working as a producer at a start-up production company, "Lone Knight Productions." Most recently, Michael co-directed and produced a 48-minute documentary for the U.S. State Department called "Pelita," about ten Indonesian Journalists searching for truth in American Politics. Michael McManus is making a name for himself as an actor as well, winning the "Best Performance" award at Campus MovieFest, the world's largest student film festival. The award was presented at their Boston Regional Finale, April 26th 2008. The film, also directed and produced by McManus, called "Staying the Course" was selected out a pool of several hundred five-minute films submitted from seven different schools in the Greater Boston area.
