Warm weather and nice people
The minute we got off the plane we felt the difference, a few thousand miles away our friends carry on in the bone-crushing cold of Boston while we walk around in open toe shoes and feel the sun actually warm our very pale faces. We are so lucky!
After a fairly relaxed yet very early flight out of Boston with my teammates, San Diego warmth and hospitality predicts a great weekend of intense press coverage, intellectual stimulation, and hopefully a little fun.
Tonight I got a chance to meet an NCA veteran, Anita Taylor from Mason University. She's been coming to the NCA convention since 1967 and had a lot to say about how it's changed right before her eyes. I look forward to meeting her again and getting to share my thoughts with people from all around the world.
