Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to uncover the role of governmental tax incentives in contemporary Hollywood. I will use social theory, rhetorical and political economic perspectives to develop an analytical framework for understanding of the political, social and economic roles that governmental tax incentives serve in contemporary Hollywood.
